Purge: America

People say America is truly the greatest nation on earth.  When I look at our history, I am not inclined to say so.  According to sources, there are 323.1 billion people that live in the United States.  That is more than Russia and more than the United Kingdom.  From this number, 32 million adults cannot read.  About 21 percent of adults read below a 5th grade level and around 19 percent of high school graduates cannot read at all, yet people say we are truly the greatest nation on earth.

When we talk about purge, what are we really talking about?  Let’s look what purge is defined as.  It can be used as a noun to mean an abrupt or violent removal of a group of people from an organization or place.  There are many things that can be considered as purging.

I see commercials daily about giving money to help the poor in other countries, yet we have poor people in America who are suffering.  Let’s look at jobs.  Jobs are moved from the United States to other countries for the sake of paying a lower wage and increase in price in the interest of making more money.  The government gives tax cuts for companies moving their production in different countries.  These companies pay those citizens in other countries pennies on the dollar.  Meanwhile, American citizens are living hand in mouth due to lack of jobs, lack of opportunities, and lack adequate wages.  Most people will contribute funds around the world before helping a fellow American.  All contributed fund are tax deductible which means Americans can support other American causes to help each other.  My mother has this saying that goes “take care of home first.”  How are Americans supposed to feel?  How can this be viewed as a purge?  As a result of companies moving their businesses out of the country, it decreases the amount of Americans working to provide for their families.  This can also cause retaliation or uproar.  The effect of this can lead to increased population in jail as well as increased population among the homeless.  Walking pneumonia and disease can be adverse effects among the homeless which can cause a slow and painful death.  So many Americans look down on the homeless, but homeless people are kinder and more caring than other Americans who are well off.

Trump lifts the ban on big game trophy and now he puts the ban back on.  When the ban was lifted there were a lot of Americans calling him a great president.  This means we have people in America that want to go to other countries to kill a defenseless animal for the sake of having their head on a trophy.  This mean we have people in America that want to go to great lengths to have other animals killed for their own greed and pleasure.  There are many species of animals that are near extinction.  Currently, there are only three White Rhinos left in the world.  Out of a radius of 3,969 miles of earth, only three White Rhinos are left.  This radius is larger than both the moon and Mars.  The West African Black Rhinos are EXTINCT thanks to mankind.  As we go back in time to 1933, King Kong was brought to America for the interest of making money for man and then killed by man because he had gotten loose.  Destruction is what mankind is about and now it resorted to the destruction of God’s precious animals.  Man choose to call this sport when it is should be called what it is… execution.  These animals are NOT property, but living, breathing organisms.  It reminds me of slavery when others bought another living, breathing human and called him or her “their property.”  How can this be viewed as purging?  Americans taking innocent lives for the interest of money and power.  Man always wants to show their power, but never want to resort to humbleness.  A Godly man is a humble man.  It is very interesting how many people say they are Christians, yet can kill an animal to use as a trophy or prize.  Since a lot of people want to say they are a Christian, look at their lives and see if they are living the life of a Disciple of Christ.

The police has free reign of abusing their power.  Most police officers would kill an unarmed person and claimed they were fearful of their life.  Police officers have on a bullet-proof vest and yet afraid of their life if someone has a knife of state statue.  The jury acquits the officer which will allow other officers to do the same because they believe they will have the same fate.  Now, there is a slogan going around saying “Blue lives matter.”  I did not know we had blue people.  Not all police uniforms blue.  All lives should matter.  How can this be viewed as purging?  The paragraph speaks for itself.

There are many instances that purging can happen. I believe what others don’t understand are the cause and effects of their decisions.  The cause of moving production to other countries affects the well-being of most Americans who try to provide for their families.  The cause of senseless killing of wild animals for the sake of a trophy affects the lives of the animal’s offspring and extinction.  The cause of police abusing their power and killing unarmed citizens while getting away with it affects the trustworthiness of police officers and possible retaliation. I can bet you most of the people committing these acts call themselves Christians.  Do you honestly believe a Christian would behave the way those in the above paragraphs are behaving?

A Double Standard?

Today was a day of rest and solace as I had the day off.  Unfortunately, a police officer died in the line of duty.  It is not known if the officer died of his injuries sustained in gunfire or in a high speed car crash after the shooting.  I do feel for the victim’s family as I feel for all others that fall victims to senseless criminal activity.

As I continue throughout the day, I see a gentleman holding a sign that reads “officers lives matter.”  This area is known for subtle prejudices.  I am not talking about a straight in your face being called out of your name or getting attacked verbally for your skin color.  This area is known for supporting in-town people and excluding those that are not born in the area.  This area is known for believing every outsider is stupid and believes those who are white and poor are better than those who are black and educated.  Like most other areas being covered by the media, there are shootings of innocent or unarmed citizens by police officers.  This brings me to something my mother always told me… “You reap what you sow.” This is what the Bible says, not what she says.  Again, I do feel bad for those whose lives are forever changed by a life-changing event.

When I fixed my eyes on the man with the officer lives matter sign, I was puzzled.  Why?  When this community voiced their opinions about black lives matter, non-African descent people were saying that’s crazy and called those supporting black lives matter racist.  They believed the police officers are doing their jobs by shooting and murdering unarmed people.  They look upon the police as the judge.  It is very hard to understand how the police get away with murder.  It is hard to understand how the police get away with planting contraband and other things.

We have Trump calling the person who murdered twenty-six people mentally ill.  This is no surprise because that’s the same others say about those who raided schools and other establishments with bullet holes; leaving behind the wounded and the deceased.  Even his former girlfriend would say he, Devin Kelley, is sick in the head.  Think about this for a moment. Don’t most people call others sick in the head?  Did they murder others?  I believe the police are sick in the head for planting evidence and murdering unarmed people, yet they are still patrolling the streets.

Let’s try an experiment.  After reading this next paragraph, I would like for you to close your eyes.  Imagine someone coming into a building with an automatic weapon and shooting up the place.  What would be the first thing that would come to your mind?  Is it the safety of ALL citizens; both European and African descent?  Is it the race of the person committing this terrible act?  Do you think it is a police officer?  Do you think it is a citizen who claims to be the perfect model citizen?

The bottom line is all lives matter.  It does not matter if the person is African or European descent or a police officer.  If we don’t get it together as a country we will all be doomed, which is something I am really afraid of.  People losing their jobs overseas due to the power of the all mighty dollar, people are required to have more education for a basic job, the cost of living is going up yet the rate of pay is steadily going down, we have kids in America with no food yet I see commercials of save the kids in other countries, we have animals that are in dire need of the basic necessities of life, and we have people that refuse to date others due to race or color; but we call ourselves Christians.  Really?

Do you think it is time us, as a country, reap what we sow?  Think about it…

What I Think May Help…

I believe what may help a bit more in American history would be more interracial couples cast for parts.  I see a lot of shows cast for parts of white couples being with white couples and black couples being with black couples.  Why do I believe this may be a slight issue?  We are the most prejudice country in all of the planet earth.  We are not born into racism.  We don’t come out of the womb calling others outside their names or say I am black so I will have to be with the black kids.  Our introductory to racism starts with our parents and then our surroundings, then our experiences.

Education is the key.  Everyone is different but if people want to put everyone into one category, we will not survive as a people.  I remember watching Glory, Tuskegee Airmen, and other movies based upon true documentary resources.  One thing that moved me was the comment in Tuskegee Airmen when General Benjamin O. Davis said “Are we Americans when the mood suites you?”  Wars cannot be won without the help of everyone pitching in, both black and white, yet we beat upon each other’s character so badly.  If a black guy walks into a bar, he is looked upon as he don’t belong there.  If a white guy walks into a bar, he is believe to be safe and sane.  It is a shame that most black or mixed people have to work three times harder just to gain respect versus a white person that has respect off the bat.

Now, it is coming in the realm of animals.  White dogs are adopted before black dogs.  Really?  So an animal that lives off of instinct and do what nature grooms inside of the animal is judged on their coat (fur color).  Really?

This country needs an enema…

Don’t Be Upset…

We heard lots of stories from others regarding race this, and race that.  We heard lots of people saying that darker skinned people are using the “race” card when things happen.  We heard how others rally behind police officers when they are shot or killed, yet nothing is mentioned about the lives lost by police.  I am not against the police that honestly serve the communities and connect with people in communities.  I am not against the police that have to honestly defend their life in a situation that is life and death.  What I am against are the innocent killings and the lies other people give to make the police believe they have to destroy a family’s life.

I saw a YouTube video of a SWAT officer that shot and killed  a seven year old girl with a bullet directly into and through her head.  On this YouTube video, the SWAT officer did not answer why he did it or what was his intentions as he broke down the door in this home… a home raided to where only a grandmother and her seven year old granddaughter was occupying.  The gentleman that was doing this video provided information that was released by the American Psychological Association in regards to how police see dark skinned people.  After some research, I had found an article that tells how police view dark skinned people and how lighter skinned women view dark skinned people.  This came out in March of 2014 and here we sit in 2016 with the same issues going on.  I believe you should read the article for yourselves.  It is a good source of information.  Please share.

Really? Not again!!!

There are a lot of people always say America is the best country ever. People say there’s no racism. People say America is just for everyone. No one wants to talk about racism or how it affects us as “Americans.” No one understands what it is like to be of a darker pigmentation in America. The constitution states ALL men, not some men, but ALL men are created “equal.”  Is that true in the eyes of the law? Even the Governor of Minnesota said this was race motivated. My take… this police officer is not going to do any time for this act.

I read were a police officer in New York was convicted by his peers (the jury), but the judge made the sentence where the police officer did not serve any jail time. He only receive house arrest and probation. The person that officer had killed cannot tell his side of the story. That person cannot defend himself in a court of law. Police officers have bullet-proof vests and yet they are afraid of their life of someone who does not have a weapon. Even so, the military don’t wear bullet-proof vest and we are deployed in some of the most dangerous areas known to man. I would love to see a police officer deployed in a “hot zone” where he or she cannot wear a bullet-proof vest. I bet they will shot everyone in sight.

Incidents like this were known in the southern states, and now they are being done by police officers in the northern states. Videos that show the truth, yet not admissible in court, or the police get the videos first before it can be released. If the police officer did nothing wrong, then why are they so much in a rush to obtain the video before it stream live?

Sooner or later, America will pay for their sins and those that had gotten away with so much will have to be judged by God Himself, one day. I would love to be a fly on the wall because no matter what excuse a person gives of taking a life that is not just, would it be the correct answer?

Excuse My Language!

Do you want to know what is really fucked up (and excuse my language)?  Man.  When I say man, it includes women as well.  God put us on this earth to have dominion and to worship Him, not to kill off creation for OUR own glory.  I know I may offend some people, but this is coming from my heart!

Too many times, people hunt for the purpose of a trophy.  To many times, people hunt just to give them a reason to kill an animal.  Countless of wolves, dogs, cats, elephants, lions, and many others are killed for the purpose of just because.  Man is so vicious and mean.  Man is so corrupt and selfish.  No wonder why this place called earth is in shambles.

My mother made a point to me earlier today.  She said God did not intend on animals to be caged and put on exhibits.  There is a difference in showing compassion and raising that animal the correct way compared to abusing it because man say it is an animal.  Animals are smarter than some humans.  I told my mother that is what slavery is about… taking someone or an animal from their native land and putting them in cages.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the zoo.  I enjoy animals and my heart cries out to them because they are innocent and only do what they do instinctively.

At times, I get pissed at kids or humans throwing popcorn to animals when they are not suppose to feed the animals.  They give the animals things they may not suppose to have just to get the animal closer to them to watch.  Then I see mothers put their children on top of rocks to watch the animals closer when they are not suppose to have children on the rocks.  People breaking the rules that is for THEIR protection in order to selfishly see captive animals and then want to cry and scream when their child falls into a pit or get into an exhibit due to their negligence.  Keepers would rather kill an animal than to tranquilize the animal due to the negligence of a human doing something they were instructed NOT to do.  Is that fair for the animal?  Is that fair that other people that obey the rules get to see an animal get slaughtered due to someone else’s negligence?  Is it fair for that animal to suffer and have pain from hot lead piercing their bodies because man wants to do what they want to do instead of obeying the rules?

The joy of raising a dog or a cat correctly have many benefits, yet some people leave their dogs or cats outside.  What is the use of having a pet?  Why have a pet if you will treat is like it is nothing?  My dog has free reign in the house.  My dog sleeps in the bed with me, sleeps on the couch, walk anywhere she wants, plays in any room she pleases.  She does her business outside and outside only.  She has free reign of the fenced-in yard as well.  I enjoy her and she enjoys me.  It gives me great pleasure to see her wag her tail, instead of wondering when her next meal is, or wondering why is she subjected to extreme conditions because man refuses to house break a dog or cat.

It’s funny how man can say they love animals and respect animals, yet their actions does not coincide with their words.  Some people treat their kids like animals as well.  So when man say they love animals… do they really?

What I Find Interesting…

During my talks with others, even those on YouTube, and watching interviews, I cannot help but to notice something of interest.

Our last names are surnames that makes the majority of our nationalities.  When I see a last name of Beggs, I know that is a German name.  However, this person is from Great Britain.  He considers himself as English, not German and not German English, but just English.  There are people of Africa decent that say they are English, not African English, but just English.  Other nationalities of people in England say the same, no matter their last name.  People in America will say they are German, Italian, or Irish.  They will not say they are just American.

This is interesting because England had slaves and they had freed their slaves way before America even considered it, yet we are suppose to be the best country in the world.  Even so, black soldiers gotten paid less money in the military than white soldiers during the Civil War, yet we are suppose to be the best country in the world.  Why is this so?  Why are we so closed-minded?  I have heard women say they want that white knight on a white horse riding in the sunset.  Out of curiosity, and to pick the brain, I asked why does the knight have to be white on a white horse?  Most women say white is pure and black is evil.  I defend by asking if they had ever seen Star Wars, Return of the Jedi?  Luke is a good guy, yet dressed in all black when he met his father.  It is in our heads to state color first instead of just saying what we desire.  Look at President Obama.  Lots of people say his is our first black president.  I disagree.  He is our first biracial president as his mother is white (German decent).  When you call him black, just like others do me, you are only looking half of what we are, not all of us.  Even so, why can’t we just be Americans?

People say they are Christians or they believe in “their” God.  Do they?  Do they believe in their God because if so, would they be the way they are if God was sitting with them or standing right beside them?

Judgment day… a day some may fret.  However, why fret IF you are doing good by each other?
