Happy Holidays

I just wanted to take this moment to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a very safe journey over the New Year.

Let’s do something different!  How about doing a New Year’s resolution and keeping it this time.  After all, it will make things easier in the future to keep our word more.

My New Year’s resolution… to pray nightly before bed and to listen more, which is one of my biggest flaws.  One day at a time.

I walk slowly, but I never walk backward.  ~ABRAHAM LINCOLN~

What I get from this quote… We cannot stop inevitability, but we must still push forward regardless.

The Death Sentence.

I had a thought that entered my mind as I was reading a yahoo news post just a few minutes ago about Delta Airlines. Delta Airlines states they will not allow hunting trophies (animals that are killed in other countries by humans) on their aircrafts. I think this is almost the best thing since sliced bread. Why?

Think of the mind of a murderer. Someone in the state that has the death penalty commits murder and is arrested for that murder. That person would likely give up certain information because he/she would not want to receive the death penalty. But why not? They had killed someone, thus according to that specific state they should die as well. Most of the deaths by jury are done by the electrical chair or by lethal injection. These two forms of the death penalty are supposed to be approved and more “humane.” However, the murderer’s victim(s) could had suffered a wound in the lung, a busted heart, shattering of the spinal cord, or other things that may cause extreme pain. Yet, the murderer will try to negotiate life in prison instead of the death penalty.

An animal who is hunted for their tusks and fur does not deserve to die either. They live on instinct where as we know the difference between right and wrong, yet us humans hurt down and destroy the life of an animal. Most animals don’t even have a chance, such as a deer, moose, and other defenseless animals for the purpose of having their heads on the walls of those that murdered them. I would be willing to bet that if such murderers would be caught and tried for these crimes, they would negotiate not to be put to death, which is a more humane way to die than to feel hot lead piercing through your organs as you struggle to breath or become scared of what may happen next.

Let me go on record to say I am not a believer of the death penalty. One of the ten commandments are “Thous shalt not kill” (Exodus 20:13). I know some may say that we kill cows and some other animals for food. Technically, all animals were forbidden to be eaten until after the flood. After the flood, the animals are revealed in Leviticus 11 what are considered clean and unclean. Again, this is considered as food, not as trophies.

The Struggle Continues…

August 29, 2015

Watching Inside edition this evening after the Chicago Bears game, I was deeply moved about two things.

1. Napa Valley Wine Train Tours kicked off 11 women of African descent due to, what they call, laughing too much. According to information provided, the person who worked on the train escorted 11 women of African descent off the train at a stop where police were called and waiting for them. Other non African descent customers said it was not fair because there were others that laughed and acted the same way, if not worse, yet were not approached. Why does this bothers me? Because the company issued an apology and will make their employees go through diversity training. Can we conclude if this was done by a man or woman of African descent against European women, this person would be fired and not recommended for diversity training. People say we are created equal, but we are not treated equally. Nothing conflicts me more than those who say they are Christians who continuously judge others when the chosen people were not Europeans, but Israelis. No wonder why I stopped going to church.

2. Police officers caught on camera trying to make drivers buy tickets to a police function or he will take their vehicle for not being registered. Again, this is evident on a cell phone video, yet they only get desk duty or some other duty while the incidents are investigated through Internal Affairs. Really? What is there to investigate when the proof it right on camera or video?

We live in a world where we call bad good and good bad. We life in a world where people judge those of African descent, or even judging those that are of mixed race and receive b.s. apologies because they got busted or found out during such things. It is a shame where people of African descent has to prove themselves a worthy employee or a worthy friend almost five times more than those of European descent.

I believe not all police officers are bad or do negative things. Just like people, a few officers give the good officers a bad name, just like a few people of African descent give us good ones a bad name; and just like a few European descent people would give the good ones a bad name.

Man

Another prime example of how destructive man is. When I say man, I am speaking of all mankind which does include women.

A Minnesota dentist (Palmer) traveled all the way to Africa to kill a lion (Cecil). Little did he know, this 13 year old lion is special to the region and has a GPS on him. This is his excuse…

Palmer issued a statement that reads: “I hired several professional guides, and they secured all proper permits. To my knowledge, everything about this trip was legal and properly handled and conducted. I had no idea that the lion I took was a known, local favorite, was collared and part of a study until the end of the hunt. I relied on the expertise of my local professional guides to ensure a legal hunt.”

So, if someone was to go to his neighborhood and shoot a person because they heard that person was bad and they have sources that would confirm that, would that be justifiable to take a life and have a trophy of the deceased?

Sure, you can say there is a difference between an animal and humans, but I don’t think so. An animal protect its family just like a human would. An animal can learn words just like a human can learn words. An animal bleed just like a human. An animal has feelings of sorrow, hurt, and fear just like a human. An animal desires to be in good hands and needs love just like a human. Funny! Animals and humans are the same in many aspects. Even today, people are being hunted like animals. So you tell me?

Man has messed up this earth in so many ways. Man believes their every excuse is valid for their actions against another or against an animal. Man has marked human beings and animals for death. Man is his/her own worse enemy and yet when we kill, we want to avoid the death penalty ourselves. Isn’t that just like human nature. We don’t want to die, yet we can kill animals and each other without a care in the world…until we are caught.

America the Tyrant!

It appears police officers get a medal (get set free) for killing unarmed men and woman in America.  Police officers are granted a bullet-proof vest, something used to protect them, yet they are fast to shot unarmed people, in their chest or back; places where the police officers themselves has protection.

Lives are forever changed because of a police officer’s decision to use a weapon of “mass destruction!”  Explain how can a police officer be afraid of their life when the person is either running away from them, or unarmed and instead of grabbing their taser, they see fit to grab their weapon.  Their weapon that is used to pierce through flesh.  Their weapon that is used to tear up nerve endings and send messages of pain to the brain constantly until that pain has subsided in some way and in these cases… death.  Their weapon that is used to tear apart organs such as kidneys, lungs, and much more.  Their weapons that is used to pierce and tear through bone(s).  Their weapons that is used to burst a person’s heart.

It is very troublesome to hear a judge set a person free that kills another.  It is very troublesome to hear a jury refuse to indict a police officer that literally kills another by bursting their heart in little pieces due to a bullet from their police issued weapon.  I would love to see what would happen if a judge’s unarmed child was killed by a police officer.  Would that officer be set free?  I would love to see what would happen if a jury member who is serving on a jury trial just received word their child, who is unarmed, was killed by a police officer.  Would that police officer be set free?

Everyone is so quick to pull up a person’s criminal record, or say they are a bad person and their past caught up to them.  It is troublesome to hear what others think what a black person’s life is worth.  There are many whites that had served jail time for a variety of different crimes and there are white people that are on the sexual offender’s list.  I am not trying to make this out to be a black and white thing, but take a moment to look back at your own life for a second.  You see a black guy and a white guy, who will you judge first?  When we were kids, we did not know about black and white.  Movies, peers, and family mold us to believe how we believe today about race.

America does not want to talk about race and for this, we will never grow as a people.  I am not just black.  I am not just white.  I am of mixed race (black and white).  So when America see me as a black man, and police officers see me as a black man, we will never move forward.  I am of mixed race and both races makes up Boston Brian, not just the black and not just the white.  I used to have a lot of respect for police officers.  Just as society say… “One bad apple can spoil the bunch.”  How are we to view police officers then?  Are we to view them as one bad police officer means all officers are bad?  After all, this is what society say about people right?

People jump’s on society’s band wagon when it is convenient for them.  People say society is right for judging a person by race.  People say society is right for saying police officers cannot do any wrong.  People say society is right for saying one bad apple spoils the bunch, unless it is their family member that society may be talking about.

So many people want to live in America, but why?  We are not America, the beautiful.  We are America, the Tyrant.  The cruel and oppressive ruler as police officers get away by being their own judge and executor of the law.  The cruel and oppressive ruler of shooting first and never ask questions.  The cruel and oppressive ruler in turning their head the other way when they know the police actions are unjust and cannot be truthfully justified.  When people can say they want their country back and this is not right when President Obama was elected into office and then re-elected into office, it really show the true color of most Americans.

In closing I will say this.  America better wake up.  So many police officers have open season on black people and people with disabilities.  So many people are quick to say the police are justified in their killings, even though the person is unarmed.  Before you judge another black person in this county, remember and recognized a few things.  Us Americans uses a lot of things that were made by those that are black.  Just to name a few, for there are a lot more than few, as we appreciate the traffic light from causing accidents and long traffic build-ups, compared to stop signs, you can thank Garrett Morgan.  He also invented the first gas mask used in World War One and by fire fighters.  Whenever you turn on a light, you are using one of the first inventions by Lewis Latimer.  When we all get to that age where we may need cataract(s) removed, the doctors will use a tool made by Dr. Patricia Bath to help in that process.  When you complain about that 90 degree heat and need some comfort via air conditioner, think of Fredrick M. Jones.  Whenever you need to dry your clothes, rather commercially or at home, you can thank G.T. Sampson for the invention of the clothes dryer.  For those rock stars and people that enjoy rock music, Robert F. Flamming Jr invented the guitar.  Your loved one is in the hospital and need open heart surgery.  Now, procedures are in place to improve the surgery all the time, but it could not had been done if it wasn’t for Surgeon Daniel Hale Williams, who performed the first successful open heart surgery in 1893.  Had you sent a text message today?  Had you called someone on your cellular phone, or 911 from your cellular phone?  Henry T. Sampson invented the first Cellular Phone.  There are many more, but why is this important?  Anyone can create and invent things to make life better of course, but would these things really had been created by the blacks listed if they were shot and killed by a police officer or a judgmental person as the bullet races through their bodies; destroying everything in its path?

ENOUGH Already

I am getting tired of these commercials that show homeless kids in other countries and begging for americans (yes, lower case a) to support their cause.  Don’t get me wrong.  I don’t like to see anything or anyone suffer.  I am the type of guy that cries when Godzilla get hurt, so you know I am a sensitive person.

We have children and adults that are homeless here in america.  We have dogs and other abused animals living in america, as well as animals that needs assistance.  I believe we should take care of america first before other countries.  What’s wrong… are people afraid they will not get any money for donations of american causes that help america versus donating money overseas?  Did we loose enough to overseas companies, such as american jobs because the rich desires to get richer?  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man going to heaven.

Police Officer gets Beat Up

I have seen videos regarding a couple of police officers who gotten beat up in Philadelphia.  I will not post the link for the fear of my post either getting reported or that person may contact and have the video deleted, but trust me when I say I have seen videos of it being done.

Now, I have mixed emotions about this, as well as other viewers of the videos.  I do understand a police officer is a human being, however, does that police officer or other police officers think about that before they shoot an unarmed person, or kill someone with a handicap?  I understand a police officer and other officers must protect themselves, hence the bullet-proof vest, however, do they think about just injuring a person that is unarmed instead of shooting in the chest? It appears the police officers are the hunters and citizens are the deers… innocent deers that are gunned down for the sake of just shooting as in relations of unarmed individuals that are gunned down for the sake of getting away with killing.

Juries refuse to indict, but the ONE thing I have is this… what if one of their family members were killed by a police officer?  What if their son or daughter was unarmed and was gunned down?  When an officer is not indicted, and they return to duty the very next day, something is wrong with our way of thinking.  I do hate to say I hope or wish someone from the jury will experience this in their family, but maybe that could be what is needed for indictments.

A Rant – CF Boston Brian Style

This is going to be a piggy back on my comment I made on Xena’s post regarding the funeral of Michal Brown…

You know.. seeing all of this senseless killing by those that we call to protect ALL citizens, not just WHITE or BLACK, but ALL make me feel very embarrassed to have been in the military.

The military – something that holds a beacon of freedom and unity, but it’s not so.  We actually live in a fa-sad.  We import a lot of things from countries we don’t know anything about, such as the water may be malaria-filled, or what type of pesticides used on things we eat.  Let’s not forget, things may not affect them, but will affect us.  I remember when I was stationed in Korea and they told us (military) not to drink their water, yet the Koreans drink it.  Just because a person jump off a building and live, does not mean everyone should do the same.

Our national anthem talks about land of the free and God Bless America, yet are we deserving to be free or blessed?  We have had the Civil War, and we are still living the Civil War.  How?  We are not using northern states versus southern states, yet it is more of white versus black, versus bi-racial.  America, a country that want to define me as being black instead of interracial.  America, a country that want to define President Obama as being black instead of being interracial (his mother is German).

I hate, and I mean HATE conceal carry.  According to the Constitution, we all have the right to bear arms, but as it was used by in the days it was created, it was to protect the HOME, not to venture outside the home and shot others.  Yes, we have gang violence, and we have robberies.  We also know the area(s) of these said gang violence and other malicious crimes.  As my mother had always told me, if you don’t go in the areas that are bad, why would you need a gun?  It seems like people are getting shot for no reason, especially in the back, where there is NOT a threat.  It all comes to JUDGMENT!

Matthew 12:36,37 – “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by they words thous shalt be justified, and by they words thou shalt be condemned.”  Jesus Christ said this, not CF Boston Brian.

Romans 14:10 – But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set a nought (badness) thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  Who?  ALL of us, and our bodies holds our spirits and as others see us, we are black, white, Asian, etc… but our spirits is NOT a race.  When we need blood, it is not characterized as black o+ or white ab Negative.  It is what it is.. blood.

Why do we all do what we do?  I believe it is race driven.  Why?  Would you allow your daughter or son date and bring home a person that is of a different race AND not wonder if they are going to steel something?  We are taught as kids, and by music, about race and judgments that are passed down from our families of how people are of that race.  When America can talk about race and talk about it daily, maybe we can all see each other through our own eyes.

I hold true to two quotes that I love to use very much…
– “And you wonder why we don’t like you” – Chronicles of Narnia
– “Are we Americans when the mood suits you?” – Tuskegee Airmen

Something of Interest

It was conveyed to me, from a reliable sourse, that there are more black people getting shot by police since 2008/2009 than blacks being lynched since the Civil War.  Isn’t it ironic that this started happening AFTER the election of President Obama?  One thing I love (not) is how others can call him a black man.  He is not black, but bi-racial.  Is that hard to understand?  He has a German mother, who is white and an African father.  I too am bi-racial and get very offended and upset by others calling me black, or try to make me identify myself as black, when I have white culture in me as well.  It is the same as the term “African Americans” to describe black people.  I dislike the use of that term for blacks.  Why?  There are South Africans, that are white.  They too are African Americans.  Just like people from Egypt are called Egyptians, but they are Africans.  Either way it goes, all of Africa are Africans (South Africa, Egypt, Libya, etc.).

As I think about life in America, I think of how racist this country really is.  Most people refuse to talk about race, saying we are better since we have a black (but I call him bi-racial) president in the white house.  Most republicans talk about they want their country back and he is an Arab and things of this sort.  He was the one that got Bin Laden, not Bush. Bush wanted to do what his father could not do, which was kill Hussein, now we have a greater thread – Isis.  Funny how Hussein kept Isis at bay and killed Isis members until his death by his own people, which signify Isis want to gain control of the region. Now, here we are today right..

To be back on point – it is a shame police officers get away with murder.  Shooting of innocent people (unarmed) is something police has been able to get away with for YEARS; yet they will arrest you for shooting other people.  It is a shame that some cops make it bad for all cops, which is the same as cops judge others, yes?  They judge one black person or mentally challenge person as that is the whole group.

I heard about the Utah gentleman that gotten shot and killed.. shot in the back by police officers.  He had an afro and was not of fair skin.  After the murder, the mother, who is white, said if her son was 100 percent white, the cops would not have shot him, but because he looks black, they shot first and apologize later.  Who does this remind you of… George Zimmerman, maybe?

Racism used to occur a lot in the south, and now it is occurring a lot in the northern states now.  The statue of Liberty and the national anthem states, “land of the free and the home of the brave.”  Is it?  Are we really free?  Cops choose to be judge and executioner, even in states that does not support the death penalty.  As a former military person, I have conflict of how this country view me and appreciate the blood and sweat I have suffered for it; just to be called names and constantly looked at as I go shopping in stores.  Being of mixed race is just as bad as being black in society as we are judged as such.

We are good enough to play basketball for Team USA.  We are good enough to box (boxing) for Team USA.  We are even good enough for track and field for Team USA; but we are not good enough to be Americans AFTER we bring medals to the land of America.  They are being treated like military veterans injured in combat, lost limbs, and returned to America – rotten and cruel; often called names.  Funny how people say to me, as the movie of Tuskegee Airmen have shown as well – why do I want to fight for and willing to die for a country that thanks me by calling me “nigger.”  My answer, I really don’t know.  I have family members that are all former military, and I guess I have to keep that legacy alive, but that is a valid point.  Society only see black, white, and Latin.  Society don’t believe there is a such thing as bi-racial people.

Are we Americans when the mood suites you?

Kids…

I have been hearing a lot of things regarding kids and what is consider “bad” kids.  If we are all adults, we should realize one thing before we can say “a bad child.”  We were kids at one point in our lives.  I cannot say there is a person who was a “perfect” kid.  We all gotten in trouble, rather it was messing with the girls in the playground, stole something from our parents (it is still stealing), harassed others, or even bullied someone else due to the way the looked.  If any one person can say they were the “perfect” child and never gotten into trouble, no matter how small or big, I would love to meet your parents.  I am sure they will tell a different story.

The point is this… we are all bad children at one point of our lives.  This is why we had parents or guardians to help guide us, as we help guide our children.  Why else do we have juvenile detention centers and why else do we have the difference between being tried as an adult, and being tried as a juvenile?  Why are the records of juveniles sealed to the public?

Next time a person say… he was a bad kid, or she was a bad kid, they first have to realize the lives they had led during their teenage years.

Be safe,
